The Road to Black Status–The Story of Cara Ramey

The Road to Black Status–The Story of Cara Ramey
Exclusive Black-Status Presenter #4
Glendale, Arizona
Sponsor: Jill Howell

What you probably have figured out by Cara’s Presenter number is she was one of our very first Presenters who registered on day one! What you may not know is that she is also my younger sister. This will be an easy spotlight for me to write since I have known Cara her entire life. It took Cara exactly 18 months to reach Exclusive Black-Status. She was bed-ridden for the first year and epitomized how to successfully build a business leveraging social media. She was recovering from a traumatic post-pregnancy condition that has deteriorated the cartilage in her pelvis and she has had multiple surgeries trying to relieve the pain. Prior to her recent health limitations, Cara has been the epitome of health and fitness and has even competed in several fitness competitions. None of these challenges though, have slowed her down or prevented her from climbing the ladder to Black Status!

The Road to Black Status

Cara is a wife and mother to three children. Younique came at a perfect time for Cara. It gave her something to invest her time and energies into, while trying not to focus on her physical limitations. She was spending 10-12 hours a day growing her team and working her business. All those hours and hours and months and months are beginning to really pay off for Cara in a big way! Today she has a total of 40,011 Presenters in her company, with 114 of those being her first-level and 699 in her circle.

Those who know Cara well, know she has a twisted sense of humor. She’s a prankster through and through, and has been ever since she was young. Cara is a BLAST to have around! She’s one of those quiet, sly, fun-plotting types that always has something up her sleeve. She can pull off the craziest of pranks while keeping a straight face.

From the very beginning when Derek and I envisioned Younique being a source of income for millions of women all over the world, we both hoped that Cara would be one of them and that it would change Cara’s financial situation and family’s livelihood for the long term. To us, Cara represented billions of women with the same struggles and aspirations. Truth be told, when Cara finally reached Exclusive Black-Status I shed a few tears of gratitude and happiness for what that meant for Cara and her family. What she has done, and where she is going literally without any special favors or consideration from Corporate is very satisfying for this big sister!
